Kath Smythe Collective
I take a bespoke relationship-led approach to my work and this has enabled me to develop several deep, trusting relationships with a number of commissioning organisations. Key to the value I bring is enabling the organisations I work with to be reflective and courageous in how they enable human-centred transformation and to enable clarity by helping them to draw on evidence-informed learning.
Building these relationships enables me to work as a trusted “inside” partner, supporting change from the inside out and helping organisations to move beyond surface level transformation.
Here’s a flavour of what I’ve delivered through these long-term partnerships.
“Kath has built a strong, trusted relationship with NW ADASS, working alongside us as a valued associate. She works as a genuine partner, bringing insight, challenge, and real value. Kath brings a thoughtful and grounded approach, combining professional insight with a strong focus on people and relationships. Kath is much more than a business associate; she is part of the NW ADASS team!”
“Kath is a valued collaborator with NW ADASS for our Future Workforce programme. Following the pandemic we first worked with Kath to explore an online recruitment process for adult social care, but we began to share ideas about how to support organisations to identify and learn from good practice. We subsequently worked with Kath to transform our entire regional work programme, designing New Ways of Working, backed by theory, that we use to energise colleagues.”
“Kath has been working with us almost since she started her freelance career and she brings such a wealth of insight and wisdom around change management, strategy and collaboration. I always feel totally reassured having her in the room, and people respond honestly and openly to her gentle, but firm approach. This is exactly the sort of response all facilitators are hoping for...”
